Massage Appropriate Clothing

We want you to get the most out of your massage! A good way to do that is to make sure that you are ✨C O M F O R T A B L E✨

Comfort is key.

That's why we've made a guide of clothing best avoided during your massage treatment.

Tight waistbands/sleeves - Tight clothing can affect blood flow, leave marks on the skin, and prevent your therapist from working efficiently around those areas restricted. During your massage treatment there may be a few instances where your therapist will need to maneuver your body or ask you to change positions while on the massage bed, such as lifting arms/legs or adjusting clothing placement. This is much easier and more comfortable for both you and your therapist when there are no restricting pieces of clothing in the way.

Pieces that are difficult to get into and out of - Before your massage begins your therapist will leave the massage room in order for you to undress and make your way onto the massage bed. Wearing items of clothing that are difficult to get into or out of during your massage can delay the start of your treatment and create awkward situations if help is required to dress/undress.

Uncomfortable materials - Everyone knows how uncomfortable trying to relax in jeans or work clothes can be.. Now imagine trying to enjoy your massage in those tough, restrictive materials. Not an inviting idea is it? If coming straight from work to your massage treatment we recommend bringing along a pair of gym pants to change into before your treatment begins. (P.S we have full bathroom and shower facilities available at Evo Academy).

Anything that you don't want to get oil on - Your therapist will ensure that there is a towel and blanket separating the oil from your clothing throughout your massage treatment, however, this isn't a guarantee that the massage oil will never come into contact with your clothing. If you are in doubt over whether massage oil will come out of your favorite hoodie or those new gym tights, best wear something you won't mind getting a little oily for your next massage treatment.
